It is my privilege to serve you, and help you to become strong in the lord, and in the power of His Word.
We are here to teach and train you in developing the gifts God placed within you, through the in-depth knowledge and revelation of his Word.
We are called to obedience and to totally surrender to our Savior, giving us an attitude of commitment and service. JJ
NO MATTER HOW BAD IT GETS
• Know that God can, and will change it for the better if you let
• Him Keep in mind this life will always throw its worst at us so the best can come from us
• Don’t ever allow the problem to become bigger than the solution God has provided *Remember your will is backed by your choice as second to God’s power
• Commit to memory Romans 8:28-39, which puts God against anything that is opposed to you
• Try real hard not to let the tough times “Fake you out” But stay strong I faith
Luke 10:19 AMP Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
*THINGS THAT A FOOL MIGHT SAY*
• There is no God that I can see, so who cares, I’ll do my own thing
• So maybe there is a God, I’ll get Him when I can, He’ll wait
• Now that I’ve been told I’m a Christian, no problem, nothing for me to do, I’m heaven bound I’m okay as long I go to church Sunday and mid-week, the rest of it is mine
• I don’t need my Bible every time when I go to church, I’ll remember what he said
• Taking notes in Sunday School, give me a break, now it’s getting like work
• Everybody goes through backsliding, now it’s my turn it can’t be helped
• Sinning is something I’m going to do so what’s the big deal God will be there to forgive me
TEN REASONS WHY WE USE THE WORD
• His word is spiritual food to feed our spirit.
• It monitors our ways and mentors our thinking, protecting us from error.
• It identifies us and displays our credentials in Christ.
• It purifies our souls and prepares us for holiness.
• It saves, restores and seals us for our spiritual journey.
• It keeps us connected to Jesus by the Holy Spirit’s reminder.
• It quickens our mortal body, maintaining God’s supernatural health when needed.
• It protects us by being a sword from our mouth toward our adversaries.
• It enlightens our spirit-man, illuminating the Christ within.
• It provides courage, confidence and determination for expressing God’s truth.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall mediate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
Hebrews 4:12 AMPFor the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature].
HOW TO HELP THOSE WHO WANT IT
• Allow those in need to completely fill you in on what concerns them
• Determine to say nothing until you have all the facts, to personally review
• Never preach, but teach with tenderness
• Remember, they are weak and hurting and will look to you for healing
• People want to trust you, so be humble and transparent in their presence
• Be willing to share your own story how you were helped out of situations
• Always be ready to encourage with words of inspiration and sincere communication
John 14:15-17 NASB
